Demause + S. Miller + Gazzangia. Or how I learned to stop worrying and love conformity.

Robert Roalef In a survival situation you're better off making stupid mistakes as a group... and completely tied to your interpretations / allegiances... than you are critically thinking and fragmenting your alliances.

Alliance is tied to the allegiance of the groups choices / rituals / habits. Allegiance is tied to continued prosperty or abundance. Yet paradoxically it is relied heavily on in times of great uncertainty and fear. After times of great prosperity war breaks out because increases in resources threaten group cohesion. The value of the tribe diminishes as resources increase... yet alliance and allegiance so strongly correlates with survival that a group devoid of resources is superior to individuals seperating with abundance.

Growth whether from resource acquisition, skill acquistion, or even puberty.. strongly serve to destabilize the alliances formed within the tribe. A tribe seperated by momentary plenty will not survive the next harvest.

Or could it be that plenty motivates self-destruction and violence against others because Abundance / Growth indicates a success of your allegiances. Growth / Success further ties a tribe to a particular allegiance / habit. Growth / Success inflates feelings of superiority, strengthens groupthink, and ensures confidence / dunning-kruger effect.

But how does this relate to the suicidal nature of self-destruction and other destruction in response to child raising... Why is it we see war almost invariably after prosperity...

Why would the destruction of resources via a bender of Allegience / Group-think be advantageous? It serves to kill many many people in the alliance...

How on earth does this relate to internalized altars.... Do any generations go without war?

Perhaps it is growth at the individual level which is punished... a sort of abandonment anxiety..which leads a group to fear its own successes.. or maybe it is the narcissitic envy of the parents or even of the others in the tribe.

      Demause + S. Miller + Gazzaniga...

      A tangent fest in progress
